Starting at 39

I didn’t come to tattooing young, I built an entire career first and at 39, I started over, learning a craft from the ground up because it meant something to me. That perspective shapes how I work now: patient, deliberate, and honest about what a piece needs, because I know what it costs to start something new later in life and do it right.

I specialize in black & grey illustrative work with a growing focus on realism, and I draw heavily from Egyptian, Mexican, African, and Japanese imagery, along with anime and horror. But more than any single style, what I care about is the story underneath the piece, because a tattoo should mean something long after the ink has healed.

Men’s mental health is personally important to me, which is part of why I created the Rebuilt Collection. Tattoos can be more than decoration. Sometimes they’re proof of what someone survived.

Based in West Chester, Ohio, I work out of The Royal Ink Studio and serve clients throughout Cincinnati/Dayton and its surrounding areas (Mason, Centerville, Kettering, Liberty Township, and beyond).
